CRESTLAKE BOARD COMMITTEE REPORTS
     Ponds and Commons Committee: A contract has been approved for the chemical maintenance of the ponds to address the weeds and algae that grow in the ponds.

     Web and Communications: Only 184 residents of the 343 families have subscribed with Crestlake.org to receive newsletters and email communications.

     Babysitters Committee: To date, 60 families have received the babysitters list. This list will be updated during the next two months by Michele Guido. Anyone with updated information for the Babysitters list should contact Michele.

     Social Committee: Easter is on April 24th. We would like to have an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. Volunteers are needed. Please contact Ginny Bolan at if you can help.

     New Business: The Crestlake Board members will no longer be scheduled to attend the meetings of the St. Joseph Village Board unless the issues arise that are a concern to residents of the Crestlake Homeowners’ Association members.

CHOA ANNUAL MEETING
     The Annual Meeting for the membership of Crestlake Homeowners' Association was held on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011 at the St. Joseph Township Building.
     Reports were made at the Annual Meeting regarding the various committees that are manned by Board members.  The Treasurer’s report indicated that the activities undertaken in 2010 by the CHOA Board were completed under budget. The Secretary reported that 22 homes were purchased in Crestlake during 2010.  Welcome letters were sent out to new homeowners.  Welcome letters are sent out by the Secretary, Michele Guido, on a quarterly basis.  Elmer Nicklas reported that Phase 2 of the work on the ponds was completed under budget.  The needed maintenance on Magnolia Pond has been deferred until after the current loan, obtained to pay for the repairs of the ponds, has been repaid.  Mike Anderson, Webmaster and outgoing CHOA President, reported that the mailing list of the monthly newsletter continues to grow and that more of the families living in Crestlake are receiving news about the neighborhood via the internet on a monthly basis.  The Neighborhood Watch and Social Committee report indicated that the activities held this year were successful.  The Neighborhood Watch goal is to have Block Captains for all 12 Neighborhood Watch areas in Crestlake by the end of 2011.  Mike Anderson presented the 2011 budget which was approved unanimously.

CRESTLAKE ANNUAL MEETING
     The Annual Meeting for the membership of Crestlake Homeowners' Association is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. This important meeting will be held at the St. Joseph Township Building, 400 W. Sherman St. This is about one block west of Kolb Park. A regular meeting of your Board of Directors will also be held immediately following the Annual Meeting. Agendas for both meetings will be posted at Crestlake.org and signs will be placed throughout the subdivision prior to the meetings.
