Newsletter – February 2012

ANNUAL MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 19
On January 19, the Crestlake Homeowners’ Association’s annual meeting was held. Summaries of the activities of 2011 were presented by committee chairs, the new annual budget was approved and 2 new Board members were elected. Report summaries can be found in the meeting minutes that are posted on the CHOA website. Dennis Hueber and Sherrie Lanzo will serve for 3 year terms. We are very happy to welcome our new Board members. We, also, want to thank Jim Brock and Rick Edwards, who are retiring from the Board, for their many years of service.

LATE FEE RAISED IN 2012 FOR DELINQUENT DUES
Beginning in July, 2012, the late fee for delinquent dues will be raised to $30. Unpaid delinquency fees in July will be rolled over into the bill for the next year. Every year, some members of the Crestlake Homeowners’ Association are late in paying their annual dues. This results in extra work and cost to the association. The purpose of the association dues is to maintain Crestlake’s public areas and to cover the association’s expenses. There is not sufficient extra money in the budget to cover these extra and unnecessary costs. The $30 fee is to cover the additional mailing and clerical expenses incurred by the association.

CHOA BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE FOR 2012

The Board meets at the St. Joseph Township Building (400 W. Sherman – just west of Kolb Park). Board meetings begin at 7 PM and generally last less than an hour.
