MUSKRATS CONTINUE TO INFEST CRESTLAKE PONDS
Muskrats continue to be seen around Little Hawthorne and Grand Ponds in Crestlake. Please remember – and remind your children – that muskrats are known to carry diseases that are transmittable to human beings. Muskrats should not be approached or touched. Please notify a Board member if you see a dead muskrat in the Crestlake neighborhood.

ADANA ADAMS JOINS CRESTLAKE BOARD
The Crestlake Board of Directors would like to welcome Adana Adams as our newest Board member. Adana was elected to the Board during the May Board meeting. Adana has already begun helping with Social Committee and Neighborhood Watch activities. We are excited to have Adana’s help on the administration of the neighborhood.

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH
The Bicycle Rodeo on June 26th at the St. Joseph Community Park was great fun. The day was pretty and we had enough children attend to keep us busy but not so many that we were overwhelmed.
Bicycles were checked for mechanical safety and if requested could be etched with identifying information. Safety equipment, including helmets, horns, lights and reflectors were checked and the children evaluated for their ability to use hand signals, stop and turn safely. Participants were given certificates of participation upon completion of the activities.
The Neighborhood Watch Committee wants to thank the St. Joseph IGA for donating beverages and Crestlake residents for their assistance and donation of cookies for the participants. The Neighborhood Watch Committee hopes to offer this activity again next year.

REMINDER
Don’t forget to pay your CHOA dues. They are due in July.
